We are spending the entire semester in 3-D on a single character. We are going to do everything from modeling to rigging to animating. Needlessly to say, I am excited.
The topic is childhood core fantasy, so I will be doing Robin Hood! - Huzzah!
Here are the rough concepts. I am going to get started on the finalized concept later today.
Hey! I love the Robin Hood...I just noticed something about your figures. The bottom left figure has his hip a little off center. And that's the first time I've seen you loosen the hip in your figure sketches. It really adds dynamism (word?) to the figure. I'm thinking it's the same with the shoulders...?
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome. Nice layout too, that's not one you usually see around. The final sculpts are great too. The unusual soft asymmetries like the laces for the hood going to the side are really nice.
